Our journey
Our journey began when a passion for food met the wonder of the great outdoors. After leaving behind the fast-paced life of Adelaide for the tranquil beauty of Tasmania, we found our true calling amidst the island’s rich natural landscape. Motivated by a desire to build something valuable for our family and community, we embarked on this venture despite facing numerous time and financial challenges, turning obstacles into opportunities.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is to provide top-quality mushroom products and impart our cultivation knowledge to fellow Tasmanians. As one of the many businesses in Tasmania to be focusing on local production, we offer a sustainable alternative to mainland suppliers, therefore reducing our carbon footprint. By reusing materials such as old buckets, agricultural waste, containers and logs, we aim to minimize plastic waste and champion eco-friendly practices. We will never have a ban or disclosure telling you not to sell your own cultures created from the ones you buy from us.
Our vision
Our vision is to establish a thriving mushroom farm that not only supports our family but also enriches our community. We aspire to expand our operations into a larger facility, enabling us to produce mushrooms on a larger scale and reach a wider audience with our high-quality products.
